Spring’s “good things”
Fortunately for me, a friend purchased Martha Stewartâs Westport home⦠lock, stock and gardens. And, she has graciously granted me access to photograph the grounds as they progress through the change of seasons. Unseasonably warm temps in the Northeast has had a fast-forward effect on flora and foliage.. and Marthaâs gardens are already showing their colors, sometimes against the vestiges of lingering fall leaves.
A view of the grounds
Love this little moss-roofed shed
Most trees are decorated with floral ground coverings
This must have shot up from the earth todayâ¦still has dirt all over it
Even the moss between the stones on the steps is interesting
Even the rock walls reveal delicate plantings
A view of the chicken coop
Delicate leaves of one of the wide varieties of roses trellised in the rose garden
